What We Do
Education
Ableism 101 is a 90-minute training for healthcare and wellness providers who are ready to create more inclusive, healing-centered environments. This training explores how ableism—particularly when compounded by racism, trauma, and systemic inequity—undermines the wellness of disabled individuals and communities.
Advocacy
We teach those living with disabilities self-advocacy tools while gather in community in our Rooted Together Healing Circles. We meet every 3rd Saturday of the month at 3pm.
Access
We offer Micro Wellness Grants (financial relief) to persons with disabilities to pay for medical expenses, medical supplies, mental and holistic wellness services, and utilities.
What We Value
Belonging
Belonging means your story matters. Your voice is heard. Your needs are respected.
You’re not just invited—you’re included. You’re not just seen—you’re valued.
Belonging is what we build, together.
Community:
We build in community with a group of people who care about each other, help each other, and grow together. Community means no one has to face life alone. We listen, support, and stand with each other—especially during hard times.
Disability & Racial Equity
Disability equity means giving people with disabilities the tools and support they need to fully take part in life—not just treating everyone the same.
Inclusivity means making sure people with disabilities feel welcome, safe, and valued in all spaces.
Equity creates fairness. Inclusivity creates belonging. We’re committed to both.
Wellness
Wellness means taking care of your whole self—your mind, your body, and your spirit. We believe that caregivers and those with disabilities can be well—as strong as possible in their bodies, peaceful in their thoughts, and passionately driven by purpose.
